In 1959, the Hall of Fame selectees voted Jerry Kramer the greatest guard in the NFL's first 50 years. He was the lead blocker in the famous Green Bay power sweep of the 50's and 60's. He threw the key block that allowed Bart Starr to score the winning touchdown in the famous ice bowl game against the Dallas Cowboys. He was a six time All-Pro and played in three All-Star games. He was also a kicker who scored 170 points in his career, including 10 of the Packer's 16 points in the 1962 victory over the Giants in the NFL Championship game. The signees of this petition strongly believe that Jerry Kramer deserves to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Senior Selection Committee is thereby encouraged to recommend his name to the list for consideration at the end of the 2014-2015 season.
