Comments: No Power for 11 Days following the storm... No JCP&L Trucks seen for 10 Days following loss of Power. As a Licensed NJ Civil Engineer, and a Lifelong Resident of Toms River, I am proud to offer any Help and professional resources I have at my disposal I can provide to this petition I can.

Comments: lost power for 19-20 days. I would certainly expect JCP&L to make good in some fashion.

Comments: OMG, I go a tad further in my requests. Why were they hanging transformers over residential housing? Is that allowed by code? I mean they are sitting there saying an explosion is normal when it rains? Did this have anything to do with the age of the transformers or their scheduled maintainance?

Comments: its horrific- no heat, no fridge, no light with looters lurking, plus the cost of running a generator for so long, the inconvenience of having no power,

Comments: It appeared to me that the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. Thank you to all out ot state workers that came to our aid. They unfortunately were not able to work AS NO ONE FROM JPL&k TOOK CHARGE OF THE SITUATION and got things organized. A very poor showing JCPL Did you not learn anything from Irene ? I think restitution is in order.

Comments: Without power for 19 days. JCP&L lied about why they could not turn our power on sooner. At one point they blamed it on FEMA. I will not be paying my bill in a timely manner. Additionally I will be making a deduction for my fuel bill to power the generator.

Comments: Not only Brick! The whole region suffered due to JCP&L's "antiquated" and "poorly maintained" system (to quote out-of-state linemen and supervisors I met). Our money paid to JCP&L must be going to its Ohio honchos and stockholders.

Comments: I received an electric bill of $145 for Sept. To half of Oct. It is a vacation home in Ortley Beach. The last time it was occupied was the first 2 days of the beginning of Sept. I called. She said that it was estimated sand they would come to read it in October, and I would receive a reduction...and then the hurricane! Who is the reader? Does he/she know how to read a meter?
