Name: Kelly Redway on Feb 22, 2013Comments: There is already plenty of commercial property in the immediate area. Why establish more unnecessarily, particularly when it will so negatively impact the safety, aesthetic appeal, and home values for surrounding residential properties? Ridiculous.Flag

Name: Suzanne And Bill Marino on Feb 22, 2013Comments: There is absolutely no reason why this should be happening within this community. We are proud homeowners who have only the best interests for our properties and our families. Building a commercial office at the Parkes' entrance does not fit our vision or what was promised when we purchased our homes. We are a strong and vocal neighborhood and we will fight with everything we've got to stop this from happening!Flag

Name: Susan Carroll on Feb 23, 2013Comments: if this goes through there will be a lot of families leaving this community and will no longer be the beautiful area that people look for when purchasing a home. there is plenty of property already zoned for commercial at Racetrack and Flora Branch.Flag

Name: Angela G Chriest on Feb 23, 2013Comments: This is the most rediculous proposal I have ever seen. This area is not for commercial development. This is a subdivision. Property is too small and too close to homes for a commercial building.Flag

Name: Roy Kiefer on Feb 23, 2013Comments: The rezoning is not required since their is already an abudance of commercially zoned property on Racetrack Rd; most notably adjacent to the the River of Life UM Church at 1600 Racetrack Rd. The original JCP plan did not foresee this property as commercial and I see no reason for it's rezoning other than for the benefit of MasterCraft Builders.Flag

Name: Andrea Smierciak on Feb 23, 2013Comments: I think this is a horrible use of this space. It will increase traffic and put risks to children and walkers in the area. This is a residential neighborhood and should not be destroyed with more commercial buildings. There are plenty of open commercial areas that have building space for lease to use. Let's reuse space we have instead of making more.Flag
