In February 2013, MasterCraft Builders, based in Jacksonville, FL communicated their intent to re-zone the entrance to the "Parkes" from a residential zone to a commercial zone. "The Parkes" is a planned development in Julington Creek Plantation located at the intersection of Race Track Road and Durbin Crossing Blvd. The builder intends to destroy the entrance of the neighborhood in order to build commercial space. This will reduce the aesthetic appeal of Julington Creek Plantation, increase traffic near a school zone, and likely reduce the value of the homes in Julington Creek Plantation. Jessica Cope, United States1 year ago Comments: I used to live in Flora Parke and do not wish this to occur in the entrance into the Parkes. My parents still live there, and I do not want the value of their home to be decreased by this.
