Dear listener/music fan/theatre buff,

This petition pertains primarily to fans of Green Day and fans of Jayce Basques. As I'm sure you are aware Green Day's album American Idiot has been made into a musical. Now this Broadway musical is being developed into a film. You're excited, yes? As you should be.

Sadly most of the Broadway cast have moved on to other things and will not be involved in the film. Everyone wants the best of the best for this film. So who can we trust to do this musical justice?

He is the bassist of DownDownDown and Damato (Universal-Motown.)

He has toured with bands such as Parachute, Hugo, Blindside and played with the likes of the Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Maroon 5 and The Used and has been involved in various film and theatre productions. Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area and gotten his start in the East Bay punk scene, this very talented musician is a likely candidate for one being a part of the cast for the film adaptation.

It's been rumored that Billie Joe Armstrong is going to play the role of St. Jimmy in the film but in recent interviews he has said that he isn't 100% committed to the role.

After meeting him on tour in Columbia, MO I can say firsthand that this guy should be St. Jimmy! But if Armstrong does take the role, Jayce would make an amazing Johnny, Tunny or Will. So let's get him a read!

Unknown actors are near the bottom of the casting list. So it's our job to get him noticed. Get his name out to the producers and casting directors of this movie. Spread the word. Email your friends. Post it on Facebook. Tweet about it. Whatever you can do to get him noticed. To get him an audition.
