Name: Anonymous on Feb 27, 2007Comments: My name is Kirstie, I am 16 and come from the UK I would like to express how disgusted I am to learn that the needless butchering of hundreds of these beautiful animals is condoned by the Japaneese Government for the sake of 'tradition'. I have just seen the horrific tortures that these poor animals endure on the television and it truly made me feel sick to the stomach and I literally broke down in tears. This needs to be stopped immediately, it's absolutely disgusting and anyone involved with this is not fit to call themself human. If this continues, not only will the dolphins lose their trusting, friendly nature, but they may very well become yet another animal species that faces extinction. I plead to whoever this petition may concern that these killings are stopped before it is too late. Yours Pleadingly Kirstie WilsonFlag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 27, 2007Comments: Please stop this dreadful slaughter of dolphins by your fishermen. Dolphins are beautiful, intelligent and sociable creatures who do not deserve to suffer and die like this or need to end up on your dinner tables, or marine parks. To be taken out of their native oceans and placed in so called marine parks, is equally cruel.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 27, 2007Comments: I am so upset and have been all day, upon opening my newspaper this morning to see the sea of blood from the killing of Dolphins in Japanese waters. What beautiful gentle creatures as they are, possibly merit their premature death by savages. I really believed that the barbarism of the second world war was well and truly over. Apparently not, it must be in the blood to kil or maime. May God forgive them.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 27, 2007Comments: I am 9, and I have something to say. If these Dolphins are killed now, when I am still a bit young, I won't have these beautiful creatures to look at when I am older. You are ruining a child's life. But think, what have dolphin's done to us that has harmed you Nothing, so what's the point. These innocent creatures are living in these waters, probably with no family. Imagine, you in a world on your on getting threatend 24/7. Plus how would you like it if you were locked in a tiny cage and just waiting to get eaten. But if anything do this, look into that poor dolphins eyes and see how scared and how much it is begging to get out to get back with it's family. Think about animals rather than yourself for once. Oh and by the way if your trying to make me upset, you have by far succeded. Well done... :(Flag

We find it difficult to believe that such a barbaric practice is taking place in a modern so called civilised society. We will certainly now think twice before buying another Japanese car or television.Flag
