People convicted of a sexual assault felony are currently allowed to go into court and try to get it dropped to a misdemeanor so that they don't have a felony on their record. What!
We believe that if someone has been found guilty of a felony, they SHOULD NOT be able to drop it to a misdemeanor for convenience of getting a job, or for any other reason!
Every sexual assault victim is left traumatized, violated, changed forever, and with a broken spirit. Every day is different from that day. They have to live with what the offender did, so don't let the offender escape living with those consequences!!!!!!!!
