Name: Sheila Bayers on Jan 12, 2010Comments: How dare Shawn Graham sell MY utility. I worked 33 years of my life and helped to pay for this. This belongs to my sons future. Please tell Mr. Graham that the future is not just the next 5 or 10 years but in fact the next 50 or 100 years. Long after his name is just a long forgotten blip on the history of New Brubswick, Thank you. I hope you do the right thing.Flag

Name: Tony White on Jan 19, 2010Comments: I am against the Sale of NB Power as I feel it is not the way to go. I think that instead of selling it off to the first bidder we should look at why it is not profitable and solve the problem that way. Perhaps we could look at getting advise from other utilities how to make ours profitable. With a huge energy market south of the border I am sure there must be a way to make it a profitable venture instead of selling it off. Are there not firms out there who's sole purpose is to turn struggling companies around. I think our tax dollars would be more wisely spent trying to increase revenues rather than to get rid of a revenue generating entity like NB Power. I am willing to pay higher rates in the short term if it means more long term revenue and savings long term. I believe that this can be accomplished evenif it means shaking up management of the utility. Please, don't sell NB Power. If you do please don't sell it to the first company to offer a few dollars. Let's make sure that we get the best deal possible for New Brunswick.Flag

Name: Patricia Saunders-Goguen on Jan 19, 2010Comments: I am disappointed that any, any of our Ministers/MLAs would even consider giving up our Grid to Quebec. Please save our Power Company, Its our tax dollars, not yours personally. Better management and less interference from big companies on how to run. Let us continue with Self-sufficiency, NOT sovereignty, as I read in the paper last week. Mr. Jamieson, lobby, help us save NB to stay New Brunswick Sincerely, PatriciaFlag

Name: Abel V.Bastarache on Jan 22, 2010Comments: I would like to have a chance to vote on this matter. It seams that this sale is being rammed down our throat as was the LNG project in Saint John. There are to many questions and to many secret meetings for my liking. This was a very poor selling job by the current government, as was the river ferries, the stupid licence plates, and the cheep beer . Shawn needs to know he is elected to office and we the people have the vote. Think back to the Tory defeat, in the 1980's it can and I think it will happen again. You need to involve the people not sneek around . I wish you well, but let Shown know we do not like this move.Flag

Name: Henry on Feb 11, 2010Comments: I am not going to bother to type comments of which you have already heard I'm sure. No reason is greater then to stop, and develop a plan to fix this. We have seen bigger issues get fixed. I am sure the liberals are on the brink of bankrupting this province, but I am sure we can fix this. Its time industry maybe takes some cash out of their wallets and help this province like we have helped them...or maybe they should run into the ground with us.Flag

Name: Carol McDonough on Feb 18, 2010Comments: NB Power or any part of it should be sold to Quebec before a referendon is held. I wonder if Premiere Graham has a final clause in the MOU that prevents him from changing his mind.Flag
