Name: Dana Wilson on Aug 29, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: What can be said but what a sick act. They should not be allowed to hide. They should forever have to live with the shame of what they have done by keeping the names they carried as the took that precious child from this world. Do not allow them to hide away and commit more crimes under the guise of a new identity. What monsters!!! May God bless and keep the family of the poor child who's life was stolen by these horrible people.Flag

Name: Debbie McDougal on Aug 31, 2003State: MOCountry: USComments: This is an outrage and this is not right for these 2 boys to get a new life after taking the life of Jamie, they do not deserve to be set free and not finish their sentences and Jamie does not deserve this he deserves a lot more respect than this. If they are set free it only shows others it's ok to take someones life and it's ok and you don't have to pay the price, this is what our young kids of today will learn and is that what we want to teach the children of the future.Flag

Name: Patrick Mcdougal on Aug 31, 2003State: MOCountry: USComments: the heartlessness and sheer insane brutality of this crime warrants multiple life sentences or a sentence without parole and additional charges should be filed when they are 18. so that appeals for parole are not available.Flag

Name: Dana Montalvo-Shears on Nov 17, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: It's sad to see how a little life was cut off and it's terrible that two murderers' lives are worth more than an innocent child's life. The "Justice System" just tells us that a human life it's not worthy enough to punish rats like these two assassins. They should be in jail to rotten.Flag

It's sick... If they did it once, they can do it again...Flag

Name: Sharon Hayward on Nov 27, 2003State:Country: CAComments: It is unfathomable to me that anyone who could perform such evil and unconscionable acts to a fellow being should be allowed to go on with their lives with no sense of responsibility for their actions. I don't care how old they were when they did the crime. Normal people of ANY age don't do such heinous things to a fellow being and they should have to carry that burden all their lives. A 10 year old may not have any sense of responsibility, but they DO know right from wrong and they DO know what hurts and what doesn't. I join that young baby's family in grieving and remembering. No one should be allowed to forget; least of all the perpetrators.Flag

Name: Kim Carroll on Mar 4, 2004State: WICountry: USComments: While these boys were young when they committed this crime, the fact that they've taken the life of another should never be forgotten. These boys now young adults, should have to live with the shame and guilt of this crime for the rest of their lives. Allowing them to claim new identities and start their lives now as though the never did these things is an outrage. Jamie will never have the chance at a life because these boys took that opportunity away from him.Flag

Letting them go not only kills the spirit of that tortured little boy, but will also make others at risk. Justice should not turn that back on this.Flag
