    Comments: She broke the law, she knew she was doing it. She deserves the penalities handed out by the court that any other person would receive. Excessive amounts of money don't make someone deserve a lighter penalty.

    Comments: If a court would hand that sentence down for an everyday citizen, then Paris should cop it to. Coming into court 20 mins late and blaming her manager shows that she has no respect for the court and authority and thinks that she can buy her way out of trouble. This is not making an example of her - it is treating her as an American citizen, which she is.

    Comments: If she is a role model for young women, as she claims she is, then she should send the message that no one is above the law and accept her punishment for her stupidity. Everyone knows you shouldn't drink under the influence and does she really think the public is so naive that we believe the "I didn't know I was suspended" line Please, give us a little more credit then that.
