| 1 | aPRIL | FAIRNESS FOR ALL - I AM SICK OF CELEBRITIES GETTING BETTER TREATMENT THAN OTHERS. WHAT HAS PARIS HILTON DONE FOR SOCIETY THAT MAKES HER BETTER THAN ME, OR A PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGIST? |
| 2 | Amanda Byron | |
| 3 | Nicholas Mesoraca | ABSOLUTELY! she was convicted guilty and sentenced in a court of law. The laws wouldnt change for anyone else why should they for her. Let her do the measely 45 days that we all know any common person wouldve got more. |

| 6 | CA Voter | Put her in jail just like anyone else.
She has been treated more than fairly already. |
| 7 | Meredeth Griffin | I agree that Paris seems to be a target when others in her socialite status have gotten away with "murder. " Yet we have to start somewhere! Socialites, celebrities and such should not be treated any differently that the regular citizens of this country. I also am appauled that the petition to set her free says we (normal citizens) have "mundane" lives and she is a role model. She is a druck, alleged drug addict with too much money. Money is the root of ALL evil if she is pardoned by the govenor. Instead of setting her free we should make the other celebrity and socialites who were given shorter or easier sentences do their time as well. Maybe we would have real role models in the public eye instead of money hungry drunks and drug addicts leading our children to certain demise!!! |
| 8 | Anonymous | yep, she deserves the time.
That's she's rich doesn't put her above the law |
| 9 | Jesse Hernandez | |
| 10 | Miriah M. | Anyone else would get that sentance...or a higher one. |
| 11 | Jacqueline | No reason she should get out when us poor folks would have to serve the time |
| 12 | rich | I think she should go to jail only because i think it would be a great publicity stunt. maybe cameras could be negotiated so that it could be televised. if not, I think she will learn a very hard lesson about life...it will be good for her. it's only 45 days. Martha Stewart did a year. |
| 13 | Anonymous | send that whore to jail. wtf she ever do?? i hope they extend her sentence |

| 15 | Anonymous | I can't believe that there are idiots in the world who think Paris should get off lightly for a *DUI*. Send her to jail! |
| 16 | Josh Chaffey | I agree entirely.
Make sure you sign http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/jailparishilton/ too. |
| 17 | Anonymous | She was stopped on more than one occasion. She was warned over and over. She is rich bitch that thinks she is above the law and can (and probably will) buy her way out of it. |

| 19 | Anonymous | I agree. |
| 20 | Betsy Tabor | This girl needs to learn a hard lesson in respecting and following the law as well as be made an example of how Justice does not care how rich or poor you are the law is the law. Throw the tramp into the pound where she belongs cause is most certainly no lady. |
| 21 | A Hernandez | Sent her to prison! |

| 26 | Meryl K | Please don't let there be a difference between celebrity justice and regular justice. Paris Hilton, as sad as I am to admit it, serves as a role model for young girls who need to be shown that drunk driving and breaking the law is NOT okay. Please punish her for her criminal action as she deserves. |

| 34 | Colleen Farrell | |
| 35 | Jose Diaz-Llaneza | She thinks she's above the law because of who she is. |
| 36 | Sarah Carlson | I don't care if she's famous. She deserves to do her time like anyone else. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time you crazy crazy beyotch! |

| 39 | [Next of Ken] | Never let her out. Ever. Seriously. |
| 40 | Jerry Schock | They played a voice recording of her saying that she acknowledged that she wasn't allowed to drive at the hearing, which was recorded the first time she was pulled over with a suspended license. She was 10 minutes late for her own trial, which shows that she has no respect for the court or laws. Apparently she was 'too busy' to find out the details of the suspension. Ignorance of the law is not excuse. It was her responsibility to know what applies to her, so she is responsible for paying for breaking the law, just like anyone else. They're going to hold her hand the entire time she's in jail, so cruel hardly describes her situation. |

| 42 | Anonymous | Paris broke the law and should be punished for it. Just because she is a "celebrity" does not mean that the law doesn't apply to her. |
