    Comments: Jacqueline's family situation of abuse and forced misbehavior at age 15 does not warrant the death penalty. Jacqueline has surely proved herself to be a person who had bettered herself and is a responsible person in her adult life. I believe she merits clemency.

    Comments: As an opponent of the death penalty, cases like Jacqueline Montanez's where a 15 year old was sentenced to life imprisonment without considering all the circumstances that led her to kill at such an early age seems like an injustice of our justice system. What she has done with her life in prison is a testimony to what she might have been if she had not been under the negative influence of her stepfather from the age of seven. Hopefully you will consider modifying her sentence.

    Comments: As horrible as murder is, how can a child of 15 be sentenced to life without parole? Jacqueline has now served 20 years, has given evidence of remorse, has developed intellectually and spiritually, and should be given an opportunity to be a useful member of society. Please review her case and reconsider the initial sentence.
