    Comments: Jaco Pastorius was and is easily one of the greatest musical players and composers in both his own time and our own. Creating a USPS Stamp in a manner similar to other (albeit somewhat older) composers would be an extremely fitting, respectful, and quite honestly fantastic way to pay tribute to such a staple in modern jazz music. Who knows- perhaps more will be drawn to jazz and modern music as we know it will change and ring in a new age of jazz music! A Budding Musician, Carrington Shapard Confroy

Just as we marvel at the technical feats that Jimi Hendrix did for the electric guitar, so too should we marvel at the technical feats that Jaco brought to the electric bass. Jaco changed the way we look at an instrument.....forever.
