Haven't we been down that road a million times. Jack is a wonderful ambassador for AMC. He's been simply delightful at Super Soap in Orlando the last 2 years. Please reconsider working Jack in to the future of AMC.

Their potential is vast but they have not been given the development AS YET that they deserve, especially when compared with Erica's prior romances! The lack of love scenes too are very noticeable and love scenes is a main reason daytime viewers watch soaps. Despite all the lack-of Chris & Erica garnered a fan base that allowed them to tie with Leo & Greenlee for Best Couple at the last AMC fan club luncheon. Plus they were very popular at SSW on both coasts. Imagine what this couple could be with a fabulous love story line, that included some sizzling love scenes, sufficient airtime & promotion!

    Comments: I feel having such a talented man leave the show is a big mistake for AMC. Jack's acting is real and brings a great deal of interest to the show. He is a great actor. Besides being married to Erica he can also have his own storyline, which in my opinion would only enhance the show. Also, I feel the young people on the show really need someone like Jack. With his experience he would be a great mentor to many of the younger actors. Hopefully, AMC will rethink his part and keep him on this soap.

    Comments: AMC is the only soap I watch and it is ALL because of Jack Scalia. The world of daytime drama was foreign to me until Jack joined the cast of AMC. As a working professional, I am not home during the day but EVERY DAY I tape AMC. Jack is a terrific asset to the show. He is a very talented actor and it is a wonderful treat to be able to see him on a regular basis. I have been a fan of his from the 80s. If Jack leaves the show, so will I as well as many other viewers. PLEASE KEEP JACK ON THE SHOW AND FOCUS ON DEVELOPING HIS CHARACTER OF CHRIS STAMP. He is TERRIFIC!

    Comments: The idea that AMC and Brian Frons believe that Jack Scalia can not make a signinficant contribution to the AMC canvas is ridiculous. Scalia's work has stood throughout the years as consistent, attention getting and well received by millions of fans. To turn their backs on that kind of fan base and raw talent is a travesty. It either signals a weakness at the production level and/or a weakness of the writing staff. Bring Scalia back.

I think if the writers want to end the Erica/Jack storyline so be it But poor Brook hasn't had a love of her own and this great actress has not been seen enough get them together. I agree that the writers r not doing their part in developing new and exciting storys for the great actors they have. Stop with the new kids on the block and get back to the fundementals or their core families.

    Comments: Even though I had watched "All My Children" for a long time, I had lost interest in the show until Jack Scalia was cast as Chris Stamp a few years ago. Nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year, I was excited by the prospect of seeing Mr. Scalia's character on the AMC canvas for years to come. I also thought that Erica would finally find in Chris a safe refuge where she could deal with her demons of childhood and grow into the mature, loving woman I know she could be. I am now extremely disappointed that the decision has been made to let Jack Scalia go and with him a character I've grown to care about. I implore you to please reconsider your decision and keep this great character and talented actor in the AMC family.
