RESPECT THE "JACK SILLEY PLAYING FIELDS" CAMPAIGN! In recent times the space we know and love as Jack Silley's in Epping has been under increasing attack from youths being abusive and bullying smaller children, breaking glass bottles on the concrete footpaths and kick shards of it into the grass and onto the football pitches, leaving litter strewn everywhere (despite numerous bins just feet away from them), lighting fires drinking alcohol and taking drugs and leaving the paraphernalia behind. THIS BEHAVIOUR IS UNACCEPTABLE IN A PUBLIC AMENITY SUCH AS THIS! We, the undersigned, request that Essex Council and Essex Police step up their vigilance over the Jack Silley Playing Fields and help us to reclaim what was once a superb area for adults and children alike.
