Comments: I would really like to add in shoes of all John Adams colors, not just black. At the absolute very least, shoes that are either brown, black or white.

Comments: Our kids need a chance to be a leader and they can't do that without choices of some sort. A high standard of dressing with reasonable flexibility is a good start.

Comments: I think it's a little too "strict" and feel that rainboots should be allowed and other "modest" type color shoes, browns, whites, blacks, etc. should be allowed.

Comments: I understand that the school administration is promoting a uniform look both in and out of the classroom, but agree that beanies in school colors and black and rainy day boots are reasonable adjustments to the policy that don't compromise the current dress code.

Comments: "The administration is interpreting "solid" to mean one color without any detail or contrast..... I feel that this should not be limited to coats, but shoes as well. this is rather limiting for options and physical activity. There are plenty of girls that are wearing "all black shoes" yet they are not shoes that allow for proper physical activity.
