The Irish Writers' Centre is the national development agency for the development of writers and writing in Ireland. To help us to maintain Ireland's position in World literature we need your help and support.
Literature is part of Ireland's social and cultural history and we plan to keep it that way by developing new and talented writers who have access to the necessary skills, resources and outlets to further their work and continue Ireland's place in World literature and with your help we can achieve this.
The Irish Writers' Centre generates its own financial support to be able to provide the services we offer. To help us to continue to provide these services we rely on donations, service fees, membership and our friends scheme.
You can donate money online to the centre at www.writerscentre.ie or you can send a cheque pledging your support to the centre at 19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1.
And in answer to Quentin S, no we are not censoring comments at all. We welcome comments from everyone about the petition and we feel strongly that everyone is given the right to voice thier own opinion so certainly we would not censor that.
