Name: Catherine Garrett on Jan 15, 2007Comments: I am appalled at the 'reporting' shown on tonight's Panorama programme. After being told by both The Portland Hospital and London Fertility Centre that I would never have a child without a surrogate mother, I am now the proud mother of a 5 month old boy, following treatment with Mr Taranissi. I cannot thank him enough.Flag

Name: Amanda Lock on Jan 15, 2007Comments: We have emailed Panorama direct and intend to complain to the BBC. The programme was biased, overseen by a panel with the sole purpose of finding Mr Taranissi guilty. Prof. Winston is very good at promoting himself and appeared perfectly comfortable with the ARGC in his recent TV show.Flag

Name: Linda Riley-Dawkin on Jan 15, 2007Comments: Why were no other clinics investigated who use similar treatments to ARGC Or any of Mr. T's success stories This programme did not show any sort of responsible journalism whatsoever - shame on the BBC! I'm receiving IVF at another clinic at present - if this cycle is not successful I WILL be paying the ARGC a visit.Flag

Name: Catherine Tarry on Jan 15, 2007Comments: Without the hard work and dedication of Mr Taranissi and his team I would not have my beautiful son. At no time was I "forced" to have any treatment - I am an intelligent individual and I am capable of making my own informed decisions. Mr Taranissi is a true genius and gift to those who suffer the pain of infertility.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2007Comments: Mr Taranissi is a dedicated professional who only ever has the best interests of his patients at heart. We were told treatment would not be available to us on the NHS for a min. of 2 years and then only with a one in four success rate. We had our wonderful twins in July after one cycle at the ARGC.Flag

Name: Allison Dench on Jan 15, 2007Comments: I am extremely saddened at the extremely unbalanced reporting by Panorama tonight. I am due to start treatment again in the next couple of weeks in the ARGC and am just hoping that the dedication and hard work of the ARGC will shine through. I will send a letter of complaint to the BBC tomorrow. This is not acceptable, we have enough to go through with infertility already!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2007Comments: I think the Robert Winston seemed to be directing the BBC on what to do with the tapes... And its funny how all the cons who were on the programme clinics were not that successul!!! I still will use the ARGC after my fet !!! I think him and his team have been treated badly !! Keep up the good work team and dont let these people knock you down!!!Flag

Mr Taranissi is a dedicated, caring doctor who gets results and genuinely cares about the welfare of his patients. The panel and the reporters should be ashamed of their comments and behaviour.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2007Comments: Programme totally one-sided. What about interviewing REAL patients - those having undergone treatment or currently undergoing treatment 26 yr old reporters do NOT know what infertility is like, and they took up 2 appointments which could have been used by REAL infertile people on the ever increasing waiting list. BBC should be ashamed. If it weren't for the ARGC I wouldn't have my twins.Flag

Name: Frances Lane on Jan 15, 2007Comments: I am appaled by the vicious witch-hunt of Dr Taranissi. I was never offered the so-called controversial treatment as Dr Taranissi believed I didn't need it. I have always been thoroughly informed by ARGC of my treatment protocol. Daily monitoring ensured that they did their very best to maximise my chances of pregnancy and with Dr Taranissi's attention to detail I became pregnant on my first cycle. I would absolutely recommend any go to ARGC if they were looking to embark on IVF treatment. Thank youFlag

Name: Lauren Richards on Jan 15, 2007Comments: The programme revealed no reason why Mr Taranissi would pursue these treatments if he did not believe in them. His success rates, patient experiences and the other evidence available from studies worldwide prove the treatment does work. IVF only has a 25% chance of working - they haven't suggested it is irresponsible to offer that!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2007Comments: I have just finished watching the full unedited interview with Mr Taranissi. I am disgusted and appalled with the BBC for conducting such a pre-concluded interview. The interviewer clearly had no understanding of IVF and was of the opinion that Mr Taranissi was in the wrong. I do not attend this clinic, however i would have no hesitation in doing so. I feel that this has only assisted to highlight how professional Mr T is.Flag
