Comments: I am proud of the 22 months I spent in-country with my PBR brothers from 10/66-7/68. I am also proud to publicly sign my name to this petition. Remember the old saying about "Fool me once..." I expect the CPC to check these witnesses out beforehand. God Bless America and thank you all who now serve in harm's way.

Comments: I agree with Senator Warner, to send a letter to Senator Obama, asking for detailed information about the Iraq Veterans Against the War recent charges that our forces in Afghanistan are suffering from a shortage of equipment and weapons. The Senate can't ignore these IVAW charges as they did Senator Kerry's Winter Soldier Investigation that our Vietnam warriors had personally raped, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle, and dogs and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam. Sen. Warner is right, "In 1971 the Senate of the United States was derelict in its duty of both oversight and follow-up." We can't let it happen again.

Comments: The Winter Soldier travesty of 1971 allowed a bunch of miscreants to make up stories about what they had seen and heard. These people slander an entire group of good, decent Americans with their wild allegations. Please make the IVAW account for their testimony and provide supporting evidence for their claims. Do not allow them to slander another generation of American heroes.

Comments: Please!!! Please, don't allow another travesty like the 1971 dishonoring of America and her soldiers who bled and died in defense of our values and lives. Most of the "information" they provided in the "Winter Soldier Investigation" has since been disproven but the record was never corrected publicly. We (Americans) still stand besmirtched throughout the world by the treasonous lies and actions of these malcontents and their vengeful agenda.
