Daniel AbernathyTo attempt to undermine the mission of our honorable troops serving and putting their life on the line every day, by a bunch of whiners and quitters that could not hack it in the military is deplorable. This group is being coached by the same traitors VVAW that slandered hundred of thousands brave men and women with out an ounce of evidence. Make these traitors produce evidence of their accusations as well as their involvement in any alleged crimes.

AnonymousIf such incidents truly occured, they should be pursued. If they did NOT occur, the individuals who reported them should be pursued.
John SturmanIt is imperitive that you not be derelit in your oversite as occurred in 1971.
Diane SheltonThe truth shall prevail.

Beverly PerlsonI respectfully request that Scott Swett's CID Investigagtion Report of the 1971 charges also be included in this Petition. All the 1971 charges are unfounded and cannot be substantiated!

Dale LanhamWe as Veterans of Vietnam, demand fair treatment of all veterans. If crimes have been committed, prosecute them. If no crimes were committed and false accusations are being made, then prosecute those making the false accusations. Slander of our fine troops based on lies from a few misfits that simply have grudges, should never be permitted under any circumstances. Lies about our troops should have severe consequences.
Mary AlgerDo not let this shameful sham be entered into the Congressional record unless and until everyone is properly sworn in for their "testimony" and all above criteria has been met prior to their being given any time on the floor. To do otherwise is only a obvious ploy to placate the anti-war fringe of the Democrat party. Never again...

Larry W. ReamsI am a Vietnam veteran and I do not want to see happen to this generation of soldier what happened to mine.

Thomas E. HelselIt is essential that the TRUTH be exposed. Given any legitimacy of the claims, those guilty should be tried under the UCMJ. Given false testimony, those giving such testimony should likewise be given their day in court. For far too long, the reputations and honor of our military men and women has been tarnished by scurrilous accusations given credence without fact.

Rick SchwabThank you for following through with this.
Dennis A LancasterI am very concerned that accusations can be made without any accountability or follow up, or the facts to back them up. While no military operation is without flaws, some of the charges being made are serious, and should be investigated with the same veracity that such charges are being made. BUT, these charges must be based on documented FACTS, not opinions or possible malicious intentions by certain malcontents. Without documented evidence, this is nothing more than an exercise in hyperbole.
Steven GravesAnti-American propaganda denigrating our troops must not go unanswered.

Anna WheatonWe do not want to repeat the 1971 process that allowed horrendous lies to be spread around the world by unaccountable and self-serving individuals who did not testify under oath.
Holly BellLet the truth be told.

Vernon L WaldripThis request is nothing more than the basis for our legal system in the United States that requires any person or persons who accuse another of a wrong be present and under oath testify against said accused face to face. Even a patrol officer who writes a ticket must appear if the citizen demands a hearing. During the Kerry run for the highest office of this land, after all his anti-war and anti-military activities, one of the greatest voices heard in this country came from those who had served with him in Vietnam and repudiated his claims. This was justice.

Tom MurtaghThe shame of the lies and mistreatment of Vietnam era military hangs still on the shoulders of those who ridiculed them and lied about them to this day. Do not join in efforts to lie, distort and malign our upstanding troops now. Their honor matters. Lying about them is the worst thing we can do to them as they risk life and limb on our behalf. Cheap political points are nothing compared to their bravery. Do not support liars and political charlatans over our troops. Period.
