Sir, Madame, the BBC series "It's not easy being green" has received very good reactions, not only in Brittain, but in many other countries as well. The series, describing the efforts of the Strawbridge family to switch into a more sustainable way of live, including projects like solar-powered lighting, home-grown food products etcetera, has inspired many viewers to make changes in their own lives, and continues to do so. Moreover, the series is a valuable resource for anyone who wishes to make changes in his own life, as the projects undertaken by the family offer inspiration, and tips about how to do it. The series is great to watch once, but the real value can be gotten out of it when watching it over and over. Therefore, it seems strange that the BBC has not made the series available on DVD. We, the undersigners of this petition, would like to ask the BBC to reconsider their position, and to make the series available on DVD for the public (in the UK, and abroad). This would not only help the viewers, but also our planet, and the BBC's financial department.
