Principal Falco has brought a fresh perspective, a passion for education, and a commitment to high standards to Lillian M. Steen Elementary. Her hard work has impressed many students, teachers, parents, alumni, and community supporters. In the two years Ms. Falco has been Principal, she has thoroughly enriched our school. Under her leadership, Steen school has secured numerous grants and started many new initiatives promoting healthy eating and physical activity, environmental awareness and recycling, and a Promising Practice award for character education. Ms. Falco is firm but fair with both the students and the parents, and has created an nurturing environment in which the children have respect for each other, as well as the teachers and administration. The school has never looked better or run so well. The kids are not late for school anymore and attendance has improved. We feel that the school has benefited from Ms. Falco's leadership in the past, and would only continue to do so in the future. We also strongly believe that Ms. Falco has been a strong, fair, loyal, and honest representative of the parents, students, educators, and staff of Lillian M. Steen Elementary.
