| 251 | Louisa H-S | The council understand nothing about sustainable development or resilient communities. The plan to demolish this pub epitomises everything that is wrong with the council's vision for plastic, corporate Llanelli |

| 255 | Anonymous | Who owns the Pub and or land where Island House stands, is it the Council or aPrivate person/Company. This is such a small area where the Pub stands leave it alone, just use the rest of the land. It is a credit to the town. Leave well alone. Hardly any heritage left in the town. |
| 256 | Anonymous | i hope you beat the council. there are too many of these pubs disappearing and forgotten about. i have a pub just like yours in killay and i am with you and your regulars. i hope to god things work out for you all and long live the island house

| 258 | Dr Christopher Slader | Pulling this down would be sacrilage.
How dare you defile our heritage by even thinking about such an action. |
| 259 | Dr Marian Slader | A distinctive Llanelli building. Replace it with a carpark???
Please Council, try and include it in a more imaginative scheme. |
| 260 | Huw Gilasbey | Carmarthenshire County Council should not be allowed to pull down a well known landmark like this shame on them. |

| 289 | Anonymous | I was told by the developers that the Island nhouse would "cheapen" the look of the new buildings and reduce the car parking available. What rubbish. The pub has character and should be preserved. |
| 290 | Phillip Evans | The Island House should stay, there is enough concrete and steel around as it is, and the TRADITIONAL Pub desreves to stay. |
| 291 | Kris | save our pub!!! say no to carmarthenshire council!! |

| 296 | Steve Donoghue | Another demonstration of Carmarthen riding roughshod over Llanelli. It was bad enough in the days of the old Borough Council, where members took it in turns to have use of the brain cell, but at least they had concern for Llanelli at the heart of all they did. |
| 297 | Nick Churchill | Similar to petitioner 134, my Great Grandmother (Emily Williams) was connected with the pub in early 20thC: I’ve only just discovered the connection – only to find a bit of my heritage being demolished! |
