It seems to be in direct opposition of the values and morals that we stand for as American citizens who always want to ensure their own safety and rights. I have a right over my own life and that is about the extent of my jurisdiction, I don't have the right to choose what happens to others lives, others being those who reside in the womb of a woman. Yes, there may be exceptions when a woman's life is in danger but how often is this the case when women have this procedure done. Most of the time abortions are performed on women who are healthy and are not wanting the responsibility of parenting a child. I in no way say this as a guilt trip to those who have under gone these treatments, I say these words as a person who doesn't understand the contradiction of a civilized society that enables women to destroy what I see as a God given gift of life. Why do we allow this to continue when it is so inhumane to the living breathing life inside I think abortion is a huge human rights abuse that happens everyday in our own borders and no one in a NOW group seems to perceive this because they are more interested in what a woman chooses than what God, the creator of life, has done. If people recognized GOd as the source of all human life and existance we wouldn't even need to have this argument. The reality is not all people recognize God as the creator of human life and existance. Obviously our judicial system has decided to overturn God's opinion in place of their own opinion. Unfortunately, I think this(RoeVWade) was a poor decision not to mention an arrogant one. It disregards the sanctity and value of a human soul which is of priceless value in the sight of God. It puts way too much power in the hands of physicians who are in all definitions just people, though they have a title. This is all about perspective, my perspective is consider God's opinion of life.Flag
