659 Javier OrtizI request US Federal Immigration Authorities grant Mr. Hassan Parhizkar permission to remain in the United States. The Islamic Republic of Iran persecutes members of its gay and lesbian community. Iran does not offer a safe environment for its gay and lesbian citizens. Mr. Hassan Parhizkar's wellbeing is threatened should he be deported back to Iran. Again, I request the Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency cease its efforts to deport Mr. Hassan Parhizkar to Iran. Sincerely, Javier Ortiz

666 Andrew RidgewayThis isn't right--how do we justify calling President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a violent dictator if it's the U.S. government that's shipping him the innocent people he's executing?
667 Grace TakelalThere would be certain death and torture to Hassan Parhizkar if you were to deport him from the USA , it is against the United Nations treaty and what our country stands for . We are to protect people who come here to seek freedom from persecutions , religious and personal convictions and yes lifestyles and freedom of choice . Keep America the country it was designed to be . Please do NOT deport Hassan back to Iran !
668 Sherri Rase"...and then they came for me" as the old prayer says. We stand for fair treatment for everyone.

673 Bonnie BrillIt is an injustice what they will do to this man if he is deported back to Iran. To be jailed or executed for his only "crime" of being who he is, gay. Stop the hatred and end the deportation order.

675 Jessy AndrewsWell, we are no Iran, but we still have facist in our government and they need brought down and I will not back till I see them taken down and bexposed for the fiends they are.

678 Rene van SoerenFollow the Dutch example and grant asylum to all Iranian gays and lesbians!
679 Frank KellyDeportation in this case is equivalent to a death sentence. This must not be what our country stands for.
680 AnonymousHe has done nothing wrong. This country needs to stop punishing people who are hard working and are just trying to live their lives from day to day. As Americans, we all think that we have the right to tell others not to come to this country and deport them back. Who the heck are we? Somewhere along the lines, one of our ancestors was an immigrant. If they had been deported, none of us would be here!

689 Jeffrey Ian HamiltonI am fully aware of the difficulties surounding the issue of Iran's status as a sovereign state her right to determine her own laws and punishments, however the rights of the human transcend national and religious mores. The ideals of the United Nations must be upheld. If an individual is at risk of torture and/or death in his native state by virtue of who he is, his beliefs or sexual practice, then that person's host nation is obliged to offer protection.
