The situation with Iraqi Christians has not changed. The
overwhelming majority of those who have fled Iraq refuse to return because of
the church bombings, murders and kidnappings. The Obama Administration still
views the persecution of Christians as "criminal activity" and
refuses to admit that Christians are persecuted. Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton holds this official view even though the independent agency, The United
States Commission on International Religious Freedom, has declared Iraq a
nation of "particular concern." We continue to deliver petitions
received on the Internet and on paper to Secretary Clinton.
We must be realistic ... There is a Biblical reason that the United States
refuses to assist persecuted Christians in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and even China.
The United States is a debtor nation. Our nation owes trillions of dollars to
human rights violators such as Saudi Arabia. The Bible is clear in Proverbs
22:7 --- The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the
lender. (KJV). Our nation borrows $1.2 million dollars a minute to finance
wasteful spending. As a debtor nation we can have no influence over those we
owe and we are in debt to the Muslims who are the primary persecutors of
Christians in the world today.
