Apple's iPod family is far and away the most popular portable music playing format in the world. However, it can always be better. Out of the box, an iPod will insert annoying gaps between songs that would normally flow together on the original album.
There is a work around solution. It requires that the music selection from which the gaps need to be eliminated gets burned onto a cd then reimported into iTunes using an advanced feature named "join tracks." This solution can only be done using iTunes is cumbersome and invites degradation of quality.
We propose that a simple feature integrated into the iPod menu is the best solution. Surely the creative genii at Apple can accommodate us. |
