Name: Mitch Brenner on Sep 5, 2007Comments: I purchased mine literally 15 days ago (1 day outside the 14 day window) and am getting NOTHING for it. I have always been an apple fan, buying their products very quickly and loving them. Apple will not see another dollar from me unless something is done about this.Flag

Now, over a difference of 3 or 4 days, we are out 400 dollars AT&T is just as bad, taking their return policy FROM apple...Thanks alot apple. I will NEVER be "first on line" for anything you produce...and in fact will likely never again BUY anything you produce.Flag

Name: Joe P. on Sep 5, 2007Comments: You know, I dont mind price cuts. I really dont. I paid 499 for a phone that is now discontinued. THAT I mind. And to those saying "you knew the price would drop" they're right. However a drop of this magnitude this quickly is completely UNHEARD of by apple. Way to keep customer loyalty! Two thumbs way up...yeah, way up you know where.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 5, 2007Comments: Who's brilliant idea was it to screw all the loyal early adopters of the iphone by dropped its price 33% in 2 months! You know there was a reason I stopped buying apple products when the very first OS X was released, now there's another reason to not shop apple for another 6 years. So sad...Flag

Name: Gautham Pallapa on Sep 5, 2007Comments: I was one of those early adapters to technology... you know the ones... those who stand for hours, nay days, before a product is released so that they can test the technology first! Well, I don't come that close, but I did buy my iPhone sometime in the first week (July 3rd, to be precise) of its release. I must admit that it is a wonderful device and a delight to all the senses, but unfortunately, thanks to switching to the new technology, I have been iScrewed! BOOM! as Steve Jobs would say! He just shoved the whole 8 GB iPhone right up my behind! With his announcement today, the 8GB iPhone is now $399. A total of $200 price drop from $599 within 67 days! This is ridiculous. I remember that I had to quit going out for a month, just so that I could set aside money for the iPhone! Thank you Steve Jobs for having given me this thick bamboo up my behind! I deserve this for being a beta tester and a promoter of the iPhone, only to get kicked in the groin. And to think that I paid for the kick too! 67 days of being a shill and a pimp of the iPhone and I get this served to me on a platter! people would argue that this is how technology works, and that prices fall all the time. I would tell them that, yes, I agree prices drop, but a 33% drop within 2 months is not how technology drops behave.Flag

Name: Chris Rybicki on Sep 5, 2007Comments: This price drop is utterly ridiculous!!! There should be a cash refund, because there is no way that this price drop was just thought of. I don't want anything from the Apple store either, why so I can pay for something else that will go down in price in 9 weeks Anyway, I'm will be looking into a class action lawsuit because this is so wrong.Flag

And you know how they thank me They rob me of $400. Parts didn't get that much cheaper on the iPhone for a 33% decrease in price in less than 2 months. Apple, please fix this.Flag
