Name: Travis on Sep 6, 2007Comments: I'm a long-time Apple advocate (purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment for both my personal and my business use). I NEVER comment on these forums, but when I heard about the price drop, I decided to speak out. My problem is not with the amount I paid for my iPhone. My problem is with the apparent Apple strategy to introduce the product and sell at a higher price to the Apple geeks like us and then to turn around and sell it for a lower price to the general public. Maybe it's wrong, but I feel taken advantage of. Given the billions in recent Apple earnings, even a $50 gift certificate acknowledging our loyal support would be much appreciated. Instead, I just feel used and a little abused. Will this message be censored / deleted If so, that adds insult to injury.Flag

Name: Andrew Craig on Sep 6, 2007Comments: I personally am not planning on halting my use of Apple products. I do, however, wish to voice my unhappiness not with the iPhone, but with Apples business practices in regards to it. I simply want Apple to make amends to all of the loyal customers who waited on line only to be subject to bugs, false preparation, and major disappointments in the months following release. I am not necessarily looking for a $200 refund, but more a gesture from Apple to make up for the mistreatment we are currently receiving for our loyalty. I have never been disappointed with Apple products or their superb customer service before and I would like it to stay that way. Please Apple. Just a gesture of good faith on your part would silence many of the complaints. Don't let us down.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 6, 2007Comments: I bought a 4G iphone about a month after launch and now that i found out that Apple is selling the 8G for $100 cheaper than what i paid pisses me off! I basically paid more money for less! Think about it: A 4G iphone went for $499 and now the 8G is going for only $399 That's a low blow to people who bought an iphone earlier.Flag
