However, 200 dollars could have purchased alot of diapers or food for my 19mth old. I wish you would have thought about this before you decided on the original price. I now own 4 iPods plus a mac mini and the iPhone and now I seriously considering NEVER buying another Apple product again. Apple please make this right and restore my faith in your company.

29 AnonymousApple can get pretty harsh with its customers - despite the glowing reviews their brand seems to generate. I've been a customer since the ][GS days and I've seen that they can do great things as much as they can do awful things. Holding off all Apple purchases because of this iPhone pricing SNAFU. Steve says that's technology for you. What a liar! That's the ugly side of Apple rearing its head. Apple products owned: ][GS, PM G4 x 2, PM G5, MB, MB Pro x 2, iPod 3G, Nano 1G & 2G, Shuffle 1G & 2G, Airport Express & Extreme No more. All hardware purchases are cancelled for now. Treat the customer like crap, and the customer will just buy from someone else.

42 Kyle LeppekThis is insane to me. I had finally saved up enough money to afford the iphone with my job as a line cook by the end of august. I was extremely excited when i finally owned my own in my hands. I had figured the price would fall slightly and only after at least 6 mo. For the price to drop $200 Infuriates me. Especially to know i could have been so close to holding on to $200 extra for college which i sorely need at this point. Thank you for rewarding my apple loyality.
43 Robert HaleI am very displeased with the lack of loyalty that Apple has shown its early, loyal adopters by refusing to make any accommodations for iPhone purchasers regarding the $200 price cut. I have purchased a number of Apple products over the years including my 8gb iPhone, my MacBook Pro and, as shown in my email, my .mac account.
