| 1103 | Anonymous | i am pissed and feel ripped off buying the $GB at $500.00. Never again will i buy a new apple product. i will wait till the second generation hit the market. |
| 1104 | Mike Hayslip | This, most likely, will do no good but Apple should know that I, for one, was seriously considering purchasing other Apple products since my first, the iPhone, was purchased in July, 2007. While I love the iPhone, it hurts that a reputable company such as Apple did this to so many loyal customers who have made Apple what it is. Apple has definitely taught me a HUGE lesson with the latest price drop. I'll wait 2 years, minimum before purchasing any new Apple products. |
| 1105 | Anonymous | I am new Apple product user. But SHOCKED by 33% price cut in 2 month. I feel cheated and makes me wonder... did i make a mistake... Want my $200 back!!! |

| 1108 | Mike Emerson | Rebate the people who are loyal Apple customers and bought before the price drop. Only fair. |

| 1110 | Anonymous | this is gay how they changed the price |

| 1112 | Anonymous | Very bad of Apple to do this . They sholud compensate or revert back . They cannot revert as many of the peoplewould already bought at low price so i guess they should compensate it . |
| 1113 | Alex | I think it's ridiculous that Apple has decided to drop the price of the iPhone without compensating the people that supported them from the onset. I am an Apple user for my creative business and pleasure, and this sudden price drop will make me think twice about buying my next Apple product. |
| 1114 | Brad Harris | This was my first purchase of an Apple product and I must say that I have been pleased with it. Unfortunately, because of this early price drop, it will probably be my last. |
| 1115 | Anonymous | I am also very dissapointed with the fact that Apple overpriced the iphone to start with and dropped the price so soon after the product release. I will really rethink purchasing any apple product until after the first 6-12 months following release. As a consumer I feel taken advantage of by a company that I had a lot of respect for prior to this purchase. |
| 1116 | Anonymous | I will be using the $100 store credit to pay the re-stocking fee on the iPhone. And that will be the last product I ever purchase from Apple (after a lifetime of loyalty). Furthermore, I have already convinced one person to do the same, and I will be talking everyone I know into returning their phones and using the store credit toward the restocking fee. |
| 1117 | Mirene Charles | |
| 1118 | Jace | That is a really good idea, some type of compensation |
| 1119 | Kelli Butcher | |
| 1120 | Corbin Fanning | I feel used by a name I trusted and loved..and that is Apple. They used loyal and loving consumers to help get the iPhone's hype up. The first advise to Apple...customers do NOT like to be used. |
| 1121 | Shahzad Sarwar | $200 in 2 months! |
| 1122 | Anshuman | The iPhone launch hype brought me into an Apple store and contrary to my normal wisdom, I became an early adopter of a new phenomenon. While I am extremely happy with the iPhone, my embrace of the first Apple product has been punctuated by this insulting behavior on part of Apple. 1/3rd price drop with no adjustments for early adopters? This will keep people away from new Apple launches. As for me, I am glad to say that my first Apple product will also be my last.
Thanks Apple - you opened my eyes, that after all, you are not all that different from the other companies who are out to rip their loyal customers. |
| 1123 | David McCormick | I find it hard to swallow a 40% decrease in the price of the phone over a 10 week period. As a life long Apple user I am floored! |
| 1124 | Rick | There goes the neighborhood! The value of my property has seen a great depreciation due to this recent price drop. How is Apple going to rectify this? I certainly feel as if my pocketbook has been violated by Steve Jobs and his company. It is sickening to realize the profit margin of the iphone pre-price drop. How can they drop the price $200 and still be profitable? The answer there...... taking advantage of the loyal customers.
Shame on you Apple. I will enjoy my $600 phone but I don't have to ever buy another Apple product again! |
| 1125 | Daniel Vladimirsky | It's not fare! |
| 1126 | Derek Moyes | I've already read about the $100 store credit, and I think it's brilliant.
Good show, Apple, for doing the right thing for your "early adopters".
Not $10, not $25, but $100. Awesome! |
| 1127 | Anonymous | I do not like the fact, that apple is lowing their prices on the iphone. Not only that, but apple is adding a new application for Itunes on the Iphone. So people like me can invest more money into apple. Right now I believe that apple is just looking at their interest of making money. Seems like Apple is not worried about the people that are supporting the Iphone. Apple should give application that is useful to the customer. I bought the Iphone and I am not satisfied that I have to wait to get more application for the iphone. It is pretty embarrassing that the Iphone does not have mms to begin with. I do not want to go to a website to see a picture someone sent to me. It takes to long and it is an inconvenience. I see people adding their own application and I am still waiting for an application update from apple. I believe that apple does own something to the public that supported their product to begin with. Apple should reimburse the people in some way and that is why I am adding my name to the petition. |
| 1128 | Kareem Taha | I am just disgusted and hurt by the thought of people waiting in line (including myself) shelling out $600 only to be told that it was never worth that much, your support didn't mean anything and that we are going to sell it at a cheaper price to people that were doubters of the product to begin with. |
| 1129 | hahahahaha | only spoiled brats bought the iphone in june serves your right bitches |
| 1130 | Daniel Houle | Bought I phone at ATT |
| 1131 | karla vanlandingham | this is such a rip off. shame on you apple |
| 1132 | linda himrich | I bought 3 phones for my family& a new Imac. Spent over $4ooo. I am not happy about the Huge price drop pf phones. |
| 1133 | Anonymous | Yall are idiots in the first place....I will sign just to give you a signature....but Apple is a joke, I will just help out my fellow consumers...I did not buy one...I am content w/ my Blackjack and my Toshiba Gigabeat. |
| 1134 | Susan Wolf | I own apple computer and phone, but will not ever buy early again and will consider not buying apple at all. |
| 1135 | ricky campbell | i think apple is trying to make more money due to the lack of success of the iphone sales and i think they should compensate us some how like itunes credit would be nice or even just a $100-200 dollar credit. |
| 1136 | Anonymous | i agree this was not my first apple buy, but they definately insulted all of us loyal fans. |
| 1137 | Nickolay Lamm | Very pissed. |
| 1138 | Anonymous | Been using only Mac's since 1980. Spent over 20,000.00 on Apple products in these last 27 yrs.
Apple has really never appreciated it's loyal customer base. (Ask anyone who's ever tried to get a refund on an Apple product.) This latest slap in the face doesn't surprise me, it just reaffirms Apple's trend toward acting like Microsoft.
I love Apple products, but as a company, they've always had a lot to learn acout marketing and customer service. Sad.... very sad. |

| 1141 | Anonymous | I feel like I bought a Louis Vuitton wallet just to find out 2 months later that everyone can buy the same wallet for $200 less. Sucks! Really makes everyone that wants to buy an apple product to just wait for the prices to drop rather than buy now. |
| 1142 | Kim Le | Please extend a little courtesy to loyal early adopters and pass along gift cards or discounts for future products. This early price-cut only angers those who aim to make your business stronger. |
| 1143 | Faith Hughes | |
| 1144 | Pete Galloway | feel robbed by jobs and would not buy another apple product after 4 ipods and 3 computers.....just wrong to punish those of us that were real apple fans |
| 1145 | Debi K | |
| 1146 | Anonymous | How could Apple do this to us? We the consumers who bought the iphone at $600 dollars felt like we have been humiliated especially by the people who are now making fun at us for buying such an expensive phone. I don't want a discount or credit from Apple but I do want to be compensated in the form of a rebate of $200 dollars! Now, I don't trust Apple anymore because if it happened once, it could happen again! |
| 1147 | Anonymous | I was one of those purchasers that stood in line the first day they came out. I went through this much trouble because I didn't think that the price would drop. I haven't seen any price drops on other Apple products. I do feel silly for having done this now. I paid $500 for my phone and now it is worth less than $300. |
| 1148 | Anonymous | Jobs and Apple has gotten too much money under their belts now that they got so much money selling iPods.
The price cut is simply one of their marketing strategies to squeeze money off their loyal fans. Instead of continuing to be reasonable and fair, Jobs' only wish is to get more money.
Give the money back and apologize. Hope your price cut will cut your head off in the future when nobody buys iPods anymore |
