Celine WongIf Apple is every going to survive, they should not do this and they should do what they can to appease us, the most loyal customers. If not, I swear, never ever again will my or my family any Apple products.
AnonymousI love my iPhone, but I am extremely upset about this move by Apple. It is a blatant abuse of your most loyal customers and their willingness to follow you faithfully into a new product launch. We were there to help you generate hype and to drive your stock to a historic high with our huge turnout the days and weeks before the iPhone went on sale. We got you more media coverage then any marketing campaign could have. You have abused that good faith and trust. Don't be surprised when next time you lwant to launch a new product and there is no one in line. This milking of your loyal customers was pre-meditated and unethical. And I for one, will not be buying any new product within 6 months of a launch from you. Best of luck with the new iPod and at Christmas time this year - your loyal customers will be much more careful next time around. Shame on you Apple and Steve Jobs. I expected so much more from you.

Brian WoodruffI would be happy with a $200 credit for iTunes.
AnonymousI paid a premium price for the iPhone as Apple's history of price protection of a new product was very solid. I had no problem paying $600 up front as I felt this was going to be the price until the 2nd generation iPhone hit the market. It is not about the money, it is the feeling that I was duped into paying the higher price. The comfort I once had that Apple treated its customers with repect is not gone. Just like, maybe now even worse, that any other giant corporation. Customer are just numbers. Well this number is moving back to Windows for at least I know what the real deal is there.
Brian BarrI bought the 4gig 3 days ago thats all I have to say.
Joshua CorriganMy passion for, and loyalty to, Apple products has faded. I will never feel comfortable buying or advocating another Apple product. Please do something to restore our confience in Apple's pricing.
Bruce Austini'm a LONGTIME loyal Apple user and shareholder - and i feel very ripped off by this $200 price drop 1 month after my purchase. I'm glad to see the price drop as this will solidify the iPhone in the marketplace, but it was a poor way to handle loyal customers. Yes, i want my $200 refund.
Joe ShepherdI think Apple would be wise to consider some sort of a recompense to all their loyal customers who waited in line and paid an arm and a leg for the phone. A $200 price drop in 2 months is unheard of. I don't know what they were thinking.
Robert DriskellI have the 8GB Iphone and Its great. But this really feels like a bait and switch and this is not at all normal for Apple as a company who usually provides great customer service. Please Apple make this right before I take back the two new mac's i bought this weekend. I would love to keep doing business with this company but they need to make this right. 200 dollar price drop in 60 days is NOT RIGHT!

AnonymousFirst time Apple buyer. Last time Apply buyer. Have a good day.
FueyoIt is an outrage that Apple is stepping over it's most loyal customers, as well as the beta testers and the ones that made the iphone as popular as it is. They have become Microsoft by not caring about the core of their sales. I feel like a dumb ass because now someone can be rewarded the same phone for 200 dollars less, while i overpaid.
AnonymousA $200 apple giftcard would be more than fair. The early adopters just want to get rid of this feeling of having our devotion taken advantage of instead of rewarded.
JoshI have a 4 gig.. 2 months and I am obsolite! not cool :-(

William GroomeI feel like i just got kicked in the pants after the announcement of a 200 dollar price cut on the iphone. I bought mine on day one, but would have gladly waited if i had known that it would drop after just two months.
Stephen Wolfbought iPhone 3 weeks ago!!
MozOkay, so I was in line on iDay. Ticket #46 guaranteed me an 8Gb model. $599 + tax later I’m a happy, happy iPhone owner. Bragging rights firmly installed. Then nothing. No major update. No decent application addition or new functionality. Not even enough bug fixes to cure the Safari continuous crash problems I keep seeing. But I kept it to myself, and kept showing it off as if it were the best thing ever. Talking up Apple in the process. Then the square kick in the nuts today. Youch. Apple: fix the phone. Add stuff to it to make it at least some value (other than fluffy touch stuff) versus a new Blackberry. And open the damn device up so others can do what you so clearly don’t want to. I bought an iPhone when my company forces the Blackberry. I endured no end of IT abuse to even let me join the work wifi network. It was worth it, I was convinced. The honeymoon’s over Apple. Welcome back my work-tool Blackberry (the phone for grown ups). Apple - by dropping the price of the 8Gb iPhone by 33% in just 63 days, you’ve made a lot of people feel pretty dumb today. Me included. I never thought I’d see the day when I hated Apple. Moz www.iphonecon.com
Chris BrownI feel pretty ripped off that they'd drop the price $200 so shortly after releasing it. Apple never does this, and that's why I went ahead and purchased it when it came out, knowing that Apple products tend to hold their value. Now, i feel like with this terrible AT&T service AND having paid $200 more than I should have, Apple is just becoming Microsoft and doesn't care about ripping people off. i've been loyal to Apple for many years and am really angry.

Brandon PliskaOutrageous! Since you made the mistake in pricing you should send all of us loyal customers a free Nano to make up for your mistake. This is awful business, and I am irate!
Chris OstmoHaving purchased an iPhone on 6/29, I didn't expect a 33% price drop in 2 months. Being on my 6th Apple laptop, I expect for the "latest" products to be sometimes buggy, and to eventually drop in price as replacements are made. I expect it - and purchase the latest products anyway. My company spends tens of thousands of dollars every year on Apple equipment, and will probably continue to do so. That does not minimize the negative feeling that this creates in us toward Apple. I strongly feel that Apple has made a huge mistake. Since Apple made the decision to put a usable interface on top of Unix, this is the first time that I have been truly upset about purchasing one of its products. I don't expect any form of a cash refund, but a token gift certificate/credit to the Apple Store or iTunes would go a long way in soothing the negative feelings of your customers that are very upset by this move.
Hina SaleemBought an 8gb iPhone on 8/18, i.e. 17 before the price drop was announced. I would ask Apple to take care of their loyal customers and do the right thing by refunding the difference in the price.

AnonymousAs someone who used to recommend Apple hardware and convinced 3 people to buy iPhones, I can no longer recommend Apple products. Not only has Apple mocked their most loyal customers, but they have also caused us to betray our own friends.
Jason ElliottI'm still a bit amazed...
AnonymousPurchased 8GB iPhone Aug 21st, 15 days before price drop. $200 for one day. Perfect way to infuriate your customers.
Collin SeldersWow Apple, great way to de-value your products and piss off your most loyal customer base. I can't believe this is coming from you, a company that once stood by it's early adopters and cult-like followers. Apple owes me nothing - I have learned my lesson. I'll just keep waiting for your price drops on all your future products, thank you very much.
John HarpsterI bought the old imac 11 days before the new models. I bought the iphone 35 days before the price cut. I cant even use my 30 day price guarantee from visa. New to the apple family... not happy.
AnonymousI feel cheated by the apple people. I'd never buy their products again because now I know they lying on their products value. I want my $200 back.

Fausto J HowayApple should give us a credit of not less than $200
JCI just bought the new iMac this weekend and spend upwards of $3,000....it's going back after this and I am buying a Sony Vaio.. I mean why should I be loyal to a company that can do the same for it's customers. Welcome to the ranks of Microsoft, except more people hate Steve Jobs today than they hate Bill Gates. Way to go Steve, now everyone knows that you are nothing more than a greedy schumck and can't be trusted. This move has just killed Apple's credibility. Screw the limp apology, and make this disaster, right!
Josh PetroneI concur! I bought my iPhone 21 days ago and am now out $200. I wanted the 8gb but bought the 4gb just in case I didn't like it. Now I can't sell it to get the 8gb because of this price drop...
AnonymousAs a relatively new Apple customer, having purchased an IMAC Core Dual last year, and an Apple I Phone 17 days ago,and an IPod also last year, I am really disheartend and betrayed. Call me stupid but most high end phones don't devalue at such a rate and within 90 days after launch. Each of us in this situation should be compensated in some manner for some reasonable amount. Barring that, I will never by an Apple product again.
bill kryzaki am really upset over this.
AnonymousCustomer satisfaction numbers off the charts? Yes. Now in the opposite direction.

AnonymousThis decision has soured my opinion of Apple.
