Comments: While the plans are borderline ridiculous, the major problem is not allowing them to be used as regular prepay phones if you pay for the handset at full price like you can with *every other phone*.

Comments: Vodafone have always price gouged Kiwis yet people somehow regard them as less evil than Telecom. Hopefully these sorts of pricing plans will show just how useless Vodawhore really is.

Comments: Predictable rip off. Remember we are a small TEST market. Enough fools will buy at these ludicrous plan-prices for them not to have to worry about this petition.

Comments: I'm disgusted. There is absolutely no reason for these prices other than the fact that Vodafone has virtually no competition. Just a look across the pond at Australia shows just how crazy these prices are. Don't just sign this petition, I vote we boycott all Vodafone goods and services until they realise that we aren't going to put up with this type of treatment anymore.

Comments: I am very disappointing for the Vodafone's iPhone costs, i wont buy it with this cost for sure, the price is not even cost to reasonable, no wonder why Vodafone didnt release the iphone price until today, i do believe very few people will go to buy iphone on this Friday.

Comments: This is ridiculous. When apple announced the 3G iPhone they said it would be available for US$199 on a 2yr contract for the following reason "To make it accessible to more people". These plans are not accessible. Surely Vodafone would benefit by bringing the pricing within reach of the "iPod generation" - youth and young adults - ever head orf the iPod boom!

Comments: Pretty sad if you ask me. If we want to become a sustainable country we should make working remotely (where possible) more affordable, not less. Our broadband is terrible, all our mobile plans are terrible. Boycotting Vodafone is not the answer, get the gov. behind open source platforms and better infrastructure with reasonable or free data charges.

Comments: This is insane, more people should get unlocked 2g phones and put vodafone prepay simcards in. that way you have your iphone handset for cheap, and you will save enough money to retire on from not succumbing to vodafone's blackmail / extortion / profiteering!
