| 1555 | Sandra Samuel | The pricing plans for iphone are laughable. Who can possibly afford such ludicrous prices. Vodafone should seriously rethink the pricing of its plans or its going to lose a lot of customers, myself and family included. |
| 1556 | Matty Clarkson | daylight robbery - way to go Vodafone |
| 1557 | Tina | Corporate Greed = Vodafone = Screwed Public |
| 1558 | Anonymous | Stand fast stand firm the more who do shall dem reap !! :) |
| 1559 | Evan David | Disappointing. The bad press will do nothing to mend Vodafone's perceived position as the 'more expensive' mobile provider in New Zealand - whether that be true or not. |
| 1560 | Anonymous | Shame on Vodafone - absolute exploitation of a captive market. I shall be continuing with my first gen iPhone. |
| 1561 | Anonymous | Thank you Vodafone. This has highlighted the rip off charges in New Zealand and brought it to forefront of people's mind. Perhaps now there is the will to make a change - be by the government, regulators, telco companies, or the consumers themselves. |
| 1562 | Anonymous | if0ne is a rip off |

| 1564 | vz | It doesn't take a marketing degree to figure out this isn't gonna go over so well in today's economic climate. |
| 1565 | Dave | Vodafone are a complete bunch of idiots. $250 a month? My car payments aren't even that much. |
| 1566 | Anonymous | get it real!!!! |
| 1567 | Alexander | |
| 1568 | Mark Tung | Vodafone need to stop ripping their users off. |
| 1569 | D Lynch | Absolute rip off...
Give us unlimited at a decent price!! Say $80! I'll take that! And get rid of all the minutes... who wants 600minutes?! Come on Vodafone wake up!! |
| 1570 | Cameron Forlong | |
| 1571 | Hoani Fletcher | It's just ridiculous, we need another Telco in New Zealand to bring these duopolies back to earth and stop raping New Zealanders. I've personally spent 10's of thousands with vodafone and don't feel I get any satisfaction from it but Telecom is no better. |
| 1572 | Andrew Stuart | |
| 1573 | Dominic | |
| 1574 | Stuart MacDonald | NZ gets ripped off again.
1GB a month of data for a NZ$250 data plan. Then paying for calls etc. on top of that. The whole idea of the iphone is that it is internet-centric.
If I got the same phone here in Japan it would be NZ$120 per month, with free calls from 1am-9pm to other phones of the same provider, and as much internet as I want - no caps

Shit, the Canadians went ape-shit about their initial data plan offerings and it has been improved to 6GB per month for $30 - thats 24x as much data for 1/8 the price of the nz plan - factor that out and nz is paying 192x more than the the Canadians newly offered (but not fantastic deal).
For a nzer geek overseas it really does piss me off that the nz consumer gets so ripped off so readily by telecoms in nz.
Vodafone you should be ashamed of themselves.

| 1575 | David Hall | You can do better than this Russell Stanners. |
| 1576 | john smith | f**k vodafone |
| 1577 | Andrew Kyle | |
| 1578 | Ethan Hunter | This is disgusting. The greedy pigs at Vodafone need to take a good hard look at themselves. Give the iPhone to Telecom, not these dickheads. |
| 1579 | Anthony Forlong | |
| 1580 | Chris | I was looking forward to the iPhone a lot, I got all my data on my mac ready for when it would come out and started saving a bit of money. They price they are charging though is just rediculous, I could afford to get the iPhone 250 but what a waste of money. To get the basic plan with a 16gb phone comes out to about $110 average. $110 a month Vodafone? Give me a break. |

| 1584 | Anonymous | I would happily buy an iPhone, but the mobile data/phonecall/text charges are what are keeping me from buying an iPhone in New Zealand at this point.
I fail to see why 'reducing the price of mobile data' == 'increased customers' isn't an obvious strategy to growing your market. |
| 1585 | Rob Cawood | The most expensive iPhone in the world so far... another reason to move to Ausie... idiots. |
| 1586 | Peter Shallard | If enough people make enough noise they WILL change these prices. |

| 1592 | Anonymous | Although NZ does have a lot of infrastructure problems, this doesn't excuse the exhorbitant cost of the actual handset. |
| 1593 | Oli Robinson | |
| 1594 | matt | vadafone has truley crossed the line here.I would rather buy my iphone 3G from some other contry. vadafone should get heavily fined for trying to rip off people |
| 1595 | Florance Mouatt | I think it's disgusting that, if you're an EXISTING Vodafone customer you don't get the same DEALS that a new customer would get. Question; What do you get for being a loyal Vodafone Customer. Answer: NOTHING! What's better retaining customers or worrying about POTENTIAL customers....It would've been nice to be offered something, something is better than nothing! |
| 1596 | Brendan Shanahan | |
| 1597 | Chris | Bullshit prices get laid |
| 1598 | Anonymous | lame. |
| 1599 | Bill Aitchsion | Shocking disappointment. This is why monopolies are bad. |
| 1600 | Aidan | Other countries are getting unlimited band width, and the plans are a 3rd the price.
I'm gonna import one and move to Telecom. You had our chance and blew it! W*ankers |
