We, the undersigned, support Iowa\'s Beverage Container Redemption Law, better known as the Bottle Bill. To make a good thing better, we support strengthening Iowa\'s Bottle Bill in the following ways: 1) Expand the Bottle Bill to include water, tea, fruit and vegetable juices & drinks, sports drinks, and other non-carbonated beverages, excluding milk. 2) Increase the per container handling fee (paid by distributors to grocery stores and redemption centers) from 1 to 2 cents and establish a schedule for future increases. 3) Maintain the Bottle Bill\'s current convenient system of redeeming beverage containers at grocery stores, convenience stores and redemption centers.
