I have been a movie lover for so many years. I have seen so many films come out on tape and DVD and Blu-Ray over the years. Every great movie has gone out on VHS, Laserdisc, DVD and Blu-Ray over the years. One movie in particular should be in that group.

In 1982, 20th Century Fox released a film based on Neil Simon's play "I Ought to Be in Pictures" starring Walter Matthau, Ann-Margret and Dinah Manoff (who previously did "Ordinary People", "Soap" and the world famous "Grease"), the only one to appear in the play and the movie. It was released on VHS later. One of the editors at Wikipedia suggested that I make a petition to try to get Fox to release the film on DVD and Blu-ray as well.

It's been far too long since this has happened. Next year it will be it's 30th anniversary. For the DVD/Blu-Ray version, It would not be a bad idea to have Dinah and Neil do the DVD commentary and Dinah to appear in the menus at her current age, like Weird Al Yankovich appears in the menus of "UHF". Special features should include deleted scenes, photos and others. I Ought to Be in Pictures deserves recognition for once.

So if you want this rare gem to be released on DVD AND Blu-Ray sign this petition, if you would please, and maybe somebody at 20th Century Fox will do just that. For that release, the 20th Century Fox Logo used at that time, with or without the fanfare must be used.
