Name: Rhonni Malino on Feb 6, 2013Comments: Appeasement never works with scoundrels. The defendants have proven themselves to be untrustworthy over and over. If it costs each HOA member a special assessment +/or increased annual dues, so be it. Well worth the money to be a true deep waterfront community.Flag

Name: Jack Lahti on Feb 7, 2013Comments: After attending the recent HOA meeting at the O'Quinn School, I felt that some form of negotiated settlement would be in the best interests of the community. However, after attending the second meeting with the plaintiff's attorneys, I feel that a negotiated settlement would likely resolve matters for only a limited segment of the Assembly. Given the number and range of issues at play, it seems to me that the best way to get a balanced, full airing of these issues, and a resolution acceptable to the greatest number of Assembly members, is to have the suit heard in court. To that end, I would urge the Board to support the ongoing legal process and keep the Assembly apprised of it's deliberations and assessments.Flag

Name: Athan Fokas on Feb 12, 2013Comments: Our HOA board will be going into mediation tomorrow Wednesday Feb 13. I hope from all of the signatures received that they understand that the majority of the community would like them to pursue getting our original amenities back and not try to settle in negotiations for another community building elsewhere. Keep what we are supposed to have and then build something in the future with the profits if it is necessary. The Graham's already stated that they would clarify the ambiguities in the verbage for the Creek Club Docks which we were always supposed to have perpetual access to. Don't come out of these negotiations acting like you saved the docks because it is evident that they have already been saved. Reverse the illegal sale and don't settle.Flag
