I would like the Government to investigate the banks & insurance companies to ask why people named on policies apart from the next of kin are not contacted in the event of your death. As it could be your brother or sister name on the policy not your wife or husband. And why this information can be with held from you by the banks & insurance companies and some companies can change the wishes of the policy, and they can pay it to who they wish regardless of whos name is on the policy. And why the next of kin will be given this information to pass on. But by law they don't have to, they can keep the policy untill there dieing day and never tell you about it.
