Interzone Games want to come to Perth to set up their new MMOG development studio. However the state government is putting red tape and bureaucracy in the way. Instead of support, Interzone Games are getting hurdles and roadblocks. Please tell the Department of Industry and Resources that you want real game development to occur in your hometown. This is a fantastic opportunity for electronic game development to grow in Perth, to provide jobs for Perth-based game developers (instead of the traditional brain-drain overseas or to the East Coast), and help Western Australia finally play a significant role in shaping the next (and most exciting) form of cultural expression - computer games.
