We are the undersigned Malaysians, solemnly Petition The Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Ministry of Education Malaysia to WITHDRAW INTERLOK Novel from Malaysian Education System immediately on the following ground
- Interlok is AGAINST All Religious Teachings: Especially Islam.
- Interlok FAILED to meet MOE’s Textbook Guidelines, ‘Falsafah Pendidikan Negara’ & Jabatan Sastera – DBP.
- Interlok Derogate and Incites Racial Disunity, Prejudices & Sexist Stereotypes
- Interlok is an attempt to Sabotage 1Malaysia & The Prime Minister’s Prime Concept of Acceptance.
- Interlok AGAINST CRC & UN Charters.
We are the concerned citizens of Malaysia wanting the Federal Government to immediately WITHDRAW the Interlok Novel from Schools System and bring upon the following changes;-
- Transparent
Investigation of those failed to discharge their duties related to Interlok.
- Reevaluate the
System of
Textbook Selection & Filtration Tiers to avoid a repetition, abuse and
infiltration for self induced reasons by any quarters or agencies
- Setup a permanent Multi Racial Independent
Committee of experts for textbook reviews.
We are the undersigned below absolutely understood the CONTENT and the REQUEST of the Petition Sponsored by NIAT and by signing the NIAT Petition Declaration, we are petitioning the Malaysian Government to resolve the stand off on the issue urgently.

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. STOP PLAYING GAMES WITH OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM.
so tired of all these experiments on our children. they are not lab rats.
This policy is just not working. listen to the parents for once.
my kids are so confused with how they teach now. go back to the old way.
The students are already struggling with the current system. Why make it harder?

Enough with these constant changes. Just let the kids learn in peace!
