We the PIO and OCI holders need correct information about changes affecting PIO holders regrading the recent announcement of making it a life time validity. There have been also rumors spreading about needing to have OCI re-issued every time passport is renewed which defeats the purpose of life time VISA.

We would really appreciate if all the procedure are documented clearly and also communicated to all the port of entries in India.

There is also no clear instructions as to what to do for PIO holders having expiration date. Do we need to ignore the date or need to get re-issued. And is there a need for U-Visa stamp going forward?

Is it possible to meet with you and all these clarified.

PS: For people signing the petition please indicate in comment field if you are PIO/OCI or on Visa currently and planning to apply for OCI/PIO in the future.
