Our fathers, brothers, mothers and sisters are suffering in Bungoma County due to insecurity. Not only are they loosing cattle, household items, electronics and other valuable property but they are also loosing lives. Some being scarred for life. Is our county cursed that we cannot come up with solutions? Are we the youthful generations out of ideas? For how long will we say pole every weekend to our people whose familes and friends have succumbed to thugs? I am no security expert but I know the power behind loudness. When a woman screams in broad day light things will come to a standstill and all attention will be drawn towards her. In this concern I am sincerely asking members to take action. How? Simple, LETS MAKE NOISE TO CHASE AWAY INSECURITY IN BUNGOMA. OPERATION PIGA NDURU. This is in the hope that the govvernment will listen to our cries. It is a strong thing that will definitely bring about change. I am no security expert but I know that there are officials in the government mandated by law and by virtue of their training to curb, control and prevent crime. KENYA POLICE How many Police Stations do we have in Bungoma? We need to have the complete number and we write to each Officer commanding each police station with letters copied to the Provincial Commissioners and Ministry of Internal Security plus the Prime Ministers office. Let them know that we the residents of Bungoma are not taking this issue lightly. When we have a failed leadership, we shall take matters into our hands. PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION Letters should be sent to the DC, DO's, Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs decrying this situation and asking for a better Bungoma. If they feel they are not upto the task of protecting our residents, they should resign. COUNTY 411 I will also advise Sudi, Dennis, Webisa, Mutoro and Siboe as the administrators to ensure all members sign an online petition which will accompany all our letters together with all the posts that at one time showed that people had been killed or there was chaos coz of insecurity in any part of the county. RADIO STATIONS I should ask Bonnie Wayne, Joy Road Wesa and Biko all who are connencted to media stations that can reach our people to highlight our campaign and raise awareness on this issue so as to magnify it as possible. INTERNATIONAL CONCERNS Our brothers in the diaspora including our own Masika Wakwoma, Gilbert , Moses Marango and Gabby Mwangala should also ensure we have petitions from outside Kenya to help us push for this cause. Let us make our power as the youth to stand out clearly. This is my proposal to save the insecurity situation in bungoma and to announce t o the world that the youth are taking over Bungoma and with good results of course ensuring that there is a drop in crime rates in Bungoma County.
