Name: JOANNA RIVERA on Sep 22, 2011Tell us why innocence matters to you: because an innocent man is being falsely accussed in a case that doesn't even have signaficant evidence penning him to the murder..its sad that he is about to loose his life over something that the law is not even sure that he did!!!!! may god have mercy on the people that are willing to carry out with such an outrageous and out of control situation..all the murders that have happened before and through out the years and the death penalty wasnt an option..shaking my head at these stupid law enforcers..datttt!!!!!!Flag

Name: Janet Fletcher on Sep 22, 2011Tell us why innocence matters to you: Seven out of the nine so-called “witnesses” have recanted their original testimonies. Whatever happened to ”Innocent Until Proven Guilty,” or, ”Beyond A Reasonable Doubt?” The justice system has got the opportunity to to be abosulutely certain about Try Davis’ guilt or innocence, and instead they want to execute him before finding out the truth? Why? He’s already been on death row for 20 years. Allow him to stay there a year or two more and fine out the truth.Flag

Name: Theresa on Sep 23, 2011Tell us why innocence matters to you: Everyone deserves a fair chance at life. It is utterly sad what happened to that police officer, however, Troy is innocent. I was not present at the case but the law is you are "innocent until PROVEN guilty". According to the evidence that is NOT present, Troy Davis has no proof that he is guilty, therefore he is innocent. The United States just killed an innocent. This is not what America is about. Justice just has NOT been served. RIP Troy Anthony Davis.Flag
