Name: Greg Wesson on Aug 20, 2003State: ALCountry: USComments: I to am a felon. Have since recived a (Full) pardon with (All) rights restored but to what end I still cant get a job worth having an feel like pardon is worthless if a felony still penilizes those of us who do live a productive life in society. Laws should be amended. It is not right to pay for the rest of our life, when felony convictions are handed down like giving out candy. It is a real problem an will be much worse in the future years as the number of felons increase.Flag

Name: Charles Johnson on Nov 10, 2003State: OHCountry: USComments: I have that same frustration of being convicted of a felony nearly ten years ago and unable to get a second chance. I have completed my Bachelor Degree and have stayed clean since my release. But everytime I fill out a application that almighty question stares me in the face. I answer it honestly and hope I am given the opportunity to explain my circumstances. I mean the application does state that a conviction will not necessarily eliminate you from consideration. But this is so untrue and leaves me unemployed with no means to support myself or my family. So what do I do resort back to the trade that got me in prison or just keep trying I will keep trying, but for how long before I meet my ropes endFlag

Is when a Judge sentences someone or takes away there freedoms! But it is also my understanding that those freedoms are for everyone living in society. If they cannot live in society keep them locked up. but please do not take any more freedoms from rehabilitated and productive citizens Living in society. Americans that have never been in jail are loosing freedems. Think about it!!Flag
