The petition
Menard Prison in Illinois is a maximum security institution, the inmates there are on lock down a total number of over 200 days per year. When lockdown occurs inmates do not have phone privleges, do not recieve commissary ie.(foods, soaps, books, etc.,) are not allowed to breath unvented, fresh air, and are not allowed out of cells. The system ordered inmates incarcerated not lives no better than research animals.
