Anonymous | I am so sorry for your lose.
Emma Shipp | This is so incredibly sad! It totally should be a law to have this technology in all cars especially SUVs, trucks etc.
Sandra Laidlow | Such a tragedy.
Amy Moore | I have a son who is 9 months old and I don't EVER want this to happen to him!!!

Kim Mauro | There should be some kind of device for all makes and models of cars, vans and suv's. I am a mother of 4 children and there is not a day that I worry about one of my children getting out while I am running out to either move my car or to go somewhere while my husband is inside or one of my neighbors children running behind me. It's so scary and they are so small and fast. Something has to be done to protect our little ones.

Crystal Dunn | With technology available, we need to use it for good like keeping our children alive. What if this was your child? Would you keep something from protecting them? I am a mother of 3 and know I wouldn't.

Leslie Mattingly | I backed over my son when he was 18 months old. Thank God, he survived. That was 17 years ago and it still haunts me today. It always will. I pray for these families who have lost their children and I applaud this group for taking action.
Catherine Lee | I just learned a friend of mine lost her neice last night when her father accidently backed over her with his truck. This issue needs more attention and education. Its collateral damage is devastating.
Paul Flowers | There's no Price on a LIFE
Jane | I think people who have small children should always get out of their vehicle and walk behind it to make sure there is nothing behind them before they back up.You just never know unless you walk to the back and check.
| 1883 | Laura Robbins | This definatley needs to pass. There are too many children getting killed this way and with a record of these accidents, I'm sure it will help the auto industry, families of these children who have died such a tragic death, and to the parents with children.
PLEASE PASS THIS ACT and there are more than enough people in congress that can find people to utilize time to be spent on keeping up the statistics. |
Kathleen Medic | God bless Vada, her family...and all of the other lives lost.
