Comments: The festival will be a disaster in the Showgrounds; it should be free and it should depend on local business sponsorship, folk spending money on food etc and government sponsorship. The securing of sponsorship is the major job of the organising committee and to me, they sound like they are very lazy to indicate that they do not want to rely on sponsorship (as stated on ABC this morning by your Mayor). The wasted $16,000 spent on a consultant is scandalous. A $20 entry fee will deter many and combined with the sterile location, ensure the complete failure of the event - maybe that is what the Mayor wants I reckon locals are major attendees of the event - of course along with out of towners (which I am by the way). The big fence around the main street last year was a big turn off - I felt like I was in goal!! Clearly I fully support the original event - no fence either.

Comments: Oh My God.......I cannot believe they are doing this........I was recently in Ingham and this fat wog said to the skinny wog "you are too skinny mate" and the skinny wog pulled out a gun and went "chk chk boom." So we need the festival to stay in the main street mate.
