The northern region of Illinois is in great need of an indoor airsofting facility. I have not been able to find one airsofting facility in the northern region of Illinois. The nearest facilities are at least a one and a half hour drive and only host airsofting games about once a month. They primarily host paintball events. There are many ways that the northern region of Illinois can benefit from this type of facility. First of all, many people in this region already play airsoft. Although, I see many people giving up the sport because there is nowhere nearby to play and there are very few games going on within an acceptable driving distance. Another benefit will be a new sport that draws in teen attention. I believe that this sport will encourage many teens to be more active. The sport of airsoft has many lessons to offer including history, communication and team skills, as well as teaching honor, and respect. I’m starting this petition to serve as proof of interest in an indoor airsofting facility, located in the northern region of Illinois. I am currently a business student. I plan to start development of this business by summer, 2011. Sign this petition if you believe the northern region of Illinois could benefit from this type of facility and/or if you will become a patron of this facility.
