Name: Ms. Sophy Joseph on Jul 28, 2009Comments: Cooperation between Patent Office and academia, especially with MHRD chairs in Universities, could be encouraged for extensive research. The recent reforms taken place in Patent Office have to be appreciated . The suggestion that put forward would definitely increase accessibility to Indian Patent information.Flag

Name: Devika Rani on Apr 28, 2011Comments: Knowlege and experience forms the basis for all innvoations. Well this though needs a Research and Devlopment team. If it works it can be patented. Speed Display for Vehicles on road. (Technology for Highways) This is a technical solution to prevent speed misjudgements which are the cause of accidents. The speedometer inside the vehicle can be connected to a digital display board for heavy vehicles and cars to indicate the speed of travel. The ideal view would be at eye level of the driver next to the number plate or just below the front and rear view glass in a car; front and back of a bus. The speed indicator could help especially highway drivers to choose lanes and maintain a steady speed. Let me send it to the research labs of the vehicle manufacturers if you think it is a novel way to stop damage to human life and vehicles. Devika RaniFlag
