851 Federico RábagoThis is an excellent example of what a fan needs... and not only in the case of Indiana Jones, but also, of course, of the Episodes II & III of the Star Wars Saga
852 Anthony, NYC -- JW fan since 1977 when I saw Star Wars at 3 years oldI signed this petition over a year ago, I believe, but I have to say this: Please DO NOT JUST REISSUE THE ORIGINAL, TIME-LIMITED SCORES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY ISSUED IN 1981, 1984, & 1989! The record label has to realize that that's not gonna fly w/ J. Williams fans. We want the same exact box-set that the "Music of Star Wars -- 30th Anniversary" go; especially since many of us weren't able to buy the 2007 Star Wars box-set, because we already owned the great-sounding, but inferior-packaged 2004 edition (That still kills me). I'm not buying this box-set if it doesn't contain ALL of the music from the last 4 films (and, yes, I want the complete score from "Indy 4" ,too, in this collection...probably the best aspect of the entire movie), and I think every other fan who's signed this petition is in agreement. Just take the template you guys created for the 2007 "Star Wars"box-set and fashion it for "Indy"(LP reproductions, detailed liner notes a la Lukas Kendall/Mike Mattisino, CD-roms, etc. included. The sad part is that I don't think that John or George have that much say in how a record company issues their works...John can't just say, "Hey, release Jaws 2, the complete Harry Potter scores, The Hook score, my Dracula score from 1979..." because the companies want commercial justification as to why they should release them. WE would buy them rapturously, but they probably think we're a limited group. Lucasfilm Ltd. & Concord, don't scrimp on us regarding this collection! Cause WE know you're not scrimping on the price you're going ask for this collection! We'll payfor it, if it gives us "exactly" what we want...I'm not paying $80 dollars for something that isn't "the real deal", cause I'm going to spring for multiple editions of the same music, just to get it right. Guys, this is not rocket science -- WE'RE telling you exactly what we want...this should not be difficult. Remastered the 1st 3 movies completely, issue the new score completely, give us a big book of music info and history from the authorities who know best, all the artwork, posters, etc., and house it in a nice box --a previous petitioner had the brilliant idea of the outer box resembling the ARK OF THE COVENANT -- that would be great! Cause it seems like an excavation and a find just to get these loved scores in our hands. This is our musical grail, our stone, our skull, our ark. Please don't drop the ball on this! Here's to hoping we'll all be happy John Williams fans in the Fall of 2008. P.S. looking forward to both the new "Clone Wars" film and score coming next month.

878 James HackettI would buy these in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm holding off on getting the soundtracks to my 3 favorite movies in the specific hope that they get the treatment the original Star Wars soundtracks got a couple of years back. I think they deserve it.

882 Todd PhillipsDear Lucasfilm's, I hope you release the complete scores to Indiana Jones because it is the only thing you're going to get me to buy. After a disastrous 4th installment to Indiana Jones, followed up by a cartoon film of Star Wars (which I refused to go see) I refuse to buy that score or the new movie on DVD of either movie. You are going to need to market the films that made your series great or people will lose interest in your film projects. Unfortunately, what you guys have "going for you" is the wonderful "history" your company has not a release of new good work. There is an entire market of people whom are loyal to the original work that you need to appease. We're not falling for all the new stuff. The latest installments of Star Wards and Dr. Jones just don't hold a candle to your previous accomplishments. I hope Lucasfilm will remain loyal to it's original fan base.
